MathKit

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Overview

MathKit ("we", "us") provides free, browser-based math calculators, tables, practice tools and guides. We do not require accounts, we do not ask for personal information to use the tools, and all calculations run entirely in your browser — nothing you type into a calculator is sent to or stored on our servers.

Information we collect

  • Usage data: like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized, aggregated statistics such as page views, approximate region, device type, and browser. This data is not used to identify individuals.
  • Local storage: your theme preference (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

What we never collect

  • No names, emails, or contact details (unless you email us directly).
  • No calculator inputs or results — these never leave your device.
  • No advertising identifiers, until and unless ads are enabled, in which case this policy will be updated first.

Cookies

MathKit itself sets no tracking cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies to measure aggregate usage. You can block these with your browser settings or any cookie-blocking extension without losing site functionality.

Third-party services

  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic measurement.
  • Netlify — static hosting and CDN.
  • Google Fonts — font delivery.

Each service processes data under its own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

MathKit is suitable for school use and intentionally collects no personal data from any visitor, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change with it. Material changes (for example, enabling advertising) will be reflected here before they take effect.
